“While there are obviously some differences between the UK and China, it’s important for us that any distribution partner shares the same values of quality and integrity. Working with HeDe has been hugely beneficial, helping us to understand the Chinese heating market and ensure we are able to communicate the impact magnetite can have.”
Ahead of a launch into the expanding Asian market, magnetic filtration pioneer ADEY invited its Chinese distribution partners to visit its Cheltenham headquarters.
It was the first visit to ADEY for Pen Meng, chairman and ceo of HeDe and Dr Li Xin, vice president of HeDe, who were given a tour and technical training as well as meeting the directors and office staff to learn about the company’s history, products and values. They were joined by HeDe customers who were also keen to learn more about ADEY and its products.
ADEY is now gearing up for the official launch of its domestic and commercial filter range and premium chemical products in China at ISH in Beijing from 18-20 May.
Edward Davies, chief operating officer, said: “China is a key market for us due to its continued economic growth and openness to international trade so we were delighted to welcome our visitors from HeDe. We’ve been working closely with them over the last year to set up a distribution network with engineering and heating companies.”
He continued: “Exhibiting at ISH will give us the first opportunity to show a new market how our range of filters and chemicals can help protect and maintain central heating systems. Sales of condensing boilers in the country are on an upward curve and with a move away from coal powered energy to more environmentally friendly and efficient alternatives. With more people investing in modern boiler technology, it’s a great opportunity for us to ensure they understand how filters and chemicals can protect their performance for the long term.
