Adveco extends water heater warranties

Commercial hot water and heating specialist, Adveco (AWP), has extended the warranty period across its UK condensing range of A.O. Smith Water Heaters products.

For A.O. Smith Water Heaters parts, Adveco has extended the warranty period to two years, while there is a three-year warranty as standard on all tanks.

Bill Sinclair, technical director at Adveco, said: “These new, extended warranty periods reflect the belief we have in the quality of our products and gives our customers peace of mind when it comes to specifying A.O. Smith for their business critical hot water systems.”

The warranty period covering parts commences from date of delivery, but to ensure consistent and prolonged system life, customers are advised that all A.O. Smith products should receive a manufacturer’s commissioning by Adveco.

By opting to commission a product with Adveco, customers not only gain a matching two-year labour warranty, but the parts and labour warranty period will commence from the Adveco commissioning date.

Mr Sinclair added: “Having your product commissioned by us is highly advantageous. If not commissioned by us, it falls to the customer to take on the job of fault finding, ordering of the new part, plus extraction and return of the suspected faulty part. Working with us means this potentially time consuming and highly specialist activity becomes part of the post-commissioning warranty agreement. Customers get a priority callout appointment and don’t have to worry about doing this work themselves, or factor in extra costs for labour if there was an issue within the warranty period.”
