Airedale has revealed that its unit sales for week commencing 21st November 2016 were the highest recorded since its return to its former Rawdon site on the 4th January 2016 and the second highest since July 2014.
The company’s site suffered a fire in September 2013 but quickly recovered by relocating to temporary facilities while the old building was demolished and redeveloped.
Sales for that week were £1,600,000.00 and were particularly bolstered by solid demand for its chiller range.
Managing director, Tony Cole, said: “These recent sales results show that British manufactured air conditioning units remain trusted for their overall quality and engineering innovation.”
He continued: “2016 has been a year of tremendous challenge for the entire HVAC industry. I am particularly proud of our success which was achieved against a backdrop of considerable global uncertainty.
“We have proven that our long-term strategy of globally balanced, sustainable and profitable growth is delivering and we have maintained our position as the UK’s leading cooling solution manufacturer. I am quietly confident of a strong year in 2017.”
