Brymec wins huge vote of confidence from major customer

A glowing endorsement of Brymec’s products and services has come from £50m turnover multi-disciplinary contractor Kane Group.

In a new video (which can be viewed here), Paul Carville, m&e procurement manager at Kane Group, discusses how working with Brymec has benefited the group, and why he values working with such an innovative partner.

Mr Carville, who oversees material procurement for the group and manages its supply chain, outlines how Brymec has been one of Kane’s core suppliers for the past seven years, having supplied products worth more than £150m.

He said: “[Brymec] supply competitive prices for a vast range of products. They supply impeccable service, and they also have implemented new systems to help streamline our ordering process.”

He added: “Brymec’s website is a head and shoulders above everybody else. The fact that I can set up my team to view our net prices and order stock as and when we need it means that we can actually take time off our standard ordering process, saving the company money, and it also helps us focus on other aspects of our job.”

He said Kane Group’s site teams also found the website very useful: “They can send order requisitions to the buyers, enabling them to pick what product they want when they want it, meaning the process is very easy and it’s all done with a few clicks of a button”

Kane Group has also used additional functions on the website by placing bulk orders and calling these orders off when required, which enhances buying power, reduces excess material on site and cuts down on administration time.
