The awards, which took place at the Stansted Novotel, charted the energy efficiency champions of the heating world.

ImpraGas founder and managing director Joseph Valente was also listed as Highly Commended for his efforts within the heating industry.

ImpraGas won the same award last year, making it the only company to have won the award over two consecutive years.

Founded in 2012 by Mr Valente, ImpraGas now covers over 50 percent of the UK and aims to be able to service the entire country by 2020.

Mr Valente said: “To win this award once is an honour; to win it two years on the trot is incredible and I couldn't be prouder of our team for making this happen. Without our dedicated engineers, the in-house sales team, the aftercare team and our marketing department, we wouldn't have been able to expand so rapidly and deliver the five-star customer service our customers enjoy. This award really goes to my team.

“To have been personally recognised as Highly Commended within the Energy Champion category is hugely rewarding. I've been in this industry since I was 16 and I pride myself on keeping ImpraGas at the top of its game. This is only the beginning for us and we are all really excited to see what the next five years bring.”
