Hoval Group acquires district heating specialist YADOS

Hoval Group has acquired YADOS, a leading provider of local and district heating solutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Hoval Group has acquired YADOS, a leading provider of local and district heating solutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Hoval has maintained a small shareholding in the company since it was founded in 2009 and has now purchased 100% of the shares.

The purchase of YADOS reflects the growing importance of heat networks in reducing carbon emissions across Europe, as well as Hoval’s already strong presence in these markets. In integrating the product ranges from both companies, the company says it is creating greater differentiation from its competitors in support of gaining increased market share.

As well as district heating stations, the YADOS product range complements existing Hoval products in a number of areas. These include PowerBloc combined heat and power, TransTherm aqua fresh water systems, TransShare custom-made distributors for large plants and construction of individual container solutions.
