ThermOzone gains Carbon Trust accreditation

ThermOzone has achieved Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier status.

The company says that the award recognises the energy and lifetime savings it has been achieving for its clients with regard to the upgrade and replacement of older, inefficient chillers with its ReChill and now NuChill brands.

ThermOzone is only the third company in its industry sector to gain this accreditation, with only Daikin and Emerson previously accredited.

Gaining the accreditation from a renowned NGO boosts the company’s credentials and demonstrates that the energy reduction claims for its projects are bona fide. In addition, it provides potential clients with cost effective finance options for energy reduction projects, also supported by the Carbon Trust.

The typical return on investment is two to three years and the company has seen some projects achieve payback within one year. It says that these are not simple repairs, but substantial investments for clients, some in excess of £400,000.

In its letter to the company The Carbon Trust said: “The information provided in your application form and case studies, combined with the positive feedback received from your client reference sites and your interview, has demonstrated that your company has a significant track record in the design and delivery of successful, high quality HVAC and process cooling (water chiller) solutions. We congratulate you on your past achievements and very much look forward to working with you in the months and years ahead.”
