Vaillant Group adds a specialist renewables division
The company operates the Vaillant and Glow-worm brands in the UK and has made the move in anticipation of continuously increasing demand for renewable energy products and expertise.

Comprising more than 20 team members, the new division includes 10 MCS accredited renewable technology engineers, who have added F Gas, BPEC Thermal Solar, BPEC Heat Pumps, BPEC Energy Efficiency, WRAS and G3 qualifications to their existing array of credentials.

The team will work alongside the field engineers to book appointments, provide technical assistance support to installers, specifiers and end users were necessary.

The new division will have a technical contact centre based at its headquarters in Belper, Derbyshire. In addition, it has a fleet of bespoke vehicles, liveried with the team branding and state-of-the-art equipment to allow immediate on-site problem solving and solutions.

Vaillant Group's UK and Western Europe managing director, Jim Moore, said: 'Often renewable technology will be linked to traditional boilers so the background of our engineers will be invaluable in terms of part knowledge and support. Many installers will be looking for reassurance and 'on-site' advice during first commissioning or hoping to pick up some best practices to help them grow this part of their business - having a resource like this will allow us to fulfill all those requirements.'
