Wolseley UK has appointed Joanne Smith as its new human resources director.
Wolseley UK has appointed Joanne Smith as its new human resources director.
Ms Smith will take responsibility for the overall strategic leadership of the human resources function across Wolseley’s UK businesses.
She has had a wide ranging HR and commercial career and joins Wolseley UK from G4S where she was human resources director for the UK & Ireland. Prior to that she held HR director roles at Stansted Airport and Heathrow Express, part of BAA. She has also worked in senior HR roles at companies including Inchcape and National Grid.
She succeeds Karen Finn who left Wolseley UK in February 2014 to take up a new position at Wolseley Plc as director of people and organisation strategy.
