Herz Valves UK Ltd is based in Guildford Surrey and has been in the UK for around 40 years formerly trading under the name of Ellis Miller Ltd. The parent company HERZ-Armaturen is based in Vienna Austria and was founded in 1896. HERZ is a privately owned company with Sales of 100 Million, employing nearly 1,400 people worldwide. HERZ Valves UK has seen rapid growth over recent years and in 2005 had to move premises to a larger warehouse. We believe we will continue to grow as long as we maintain close contacts with our customers. Therefore we have our own dedicated sales team of 7 sales engineers covering the UK. Herz Valves UK pride ourselves on a commitment to customer services and have a direct sell policy enabling us to offer competitive prices to our customers. With weekly deliveries from Vienna our stock levels are maintained so that we can deliver most products within 3 working days. HERZ operate a Pro-European manufacturing policy and have 7 factories located within the European Union. Quality is important at Herz and is controlled easily since all our manufacturing units can be reached within 2 hours, this has obvious advantages for supply chain management and finished products can reach the UK within a week. HERZ manufacture an extensive range of quality engineered valves and controls for heating and cooling systems. By listening to our customers Herz Valves UK have also established specific strategic partnerships to enable us to expand our product portfolio. Coupled with help from the team in Vienna this has enabled us to produce a range of products dedicated to the UK market. In the early sixties HERZ-Armaturen established a quality assurance system that enabled HERZ to grant a 5 year warranty for all their products. This warranty is still valid for all products specified in the HERZ Certificate of Guarantee. And HERZ is still proud to offer and guarantee high production standards and reliable products. All work at HERZ is done in accordance with an up-to-date quality management system certified according ISO 9001 and numerous national and international certificates for the entire product range. Valves and fittings by HERZ are distributed throughout Europe by our own subsidiaries in the UK, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, and in the Baltic countries, and by independent distributors and representatives with who we have been working for many years. In total, HERZ operates in more than 50 countries, in Europe and far beyond, including the Middle East, North and South America, Japan, and New Zealand.
