Airco given £500,000 air conditioning contract
Airco employs 45 staff at its head office in Hull but expects to employ more engineers in the future as a result of the contract.

The contract, awarded by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, is worth around £100,000 per year to the HVACR firm.

Paul Lough, operations director for Airco said: 'It is a fantastic boost for Airco and will enable us to set out our stall for at least the next five years.

He added: 'We believe that five companies were invited to tender for the contract and we demonstrated that we are the best-placed company to take on the work. There may also be spin off projects on the back of this which will boost the value of the contract further.'
