BITZER launches new guide to F-Gas Regulations

Following the introduction of the new Regulation (EU) 517/2014 in June 2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases, BITZER UK has published a new guide that discusses its key elements.

The company says it is ideal for all those involved in the specification or installation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Publication A-510-1 is available directly from BITZER UK. It examines the historic background of F-Gas Regulations and discusses the core elements of the new Regulations. These include a number of tighter demands on refrigeration system users and designers. The phase down of fluorinated greenhouse gases is highlighted by clear charts covering quantities of gases, GWP (Global Warming Potential) values and refrigerant usage.

Alternative refrigerants with reduced GWP are also evaluated and information is provided on the BITZER compressor ranges that can be considered for use with new refrigerants.

For a copy of New F-Gas Regulation Consequences (A-510-1), contact BITZER UK on 01908 642966, email sales@BITZERuk.com or download it from www.BITZERuk.com
