BSRIA Instruments Solutions has presented Marflow Hydronics with the 2016 award for Investment in Training at the recent prestigious Commissioning Specialists Associations (CSA) Awards Dinner.
The CSA Awards event was held on Friday 17th June at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel near Gatwick and BSRIA Instrument Solutions was the official sponsor of the award category, which was open to all of the CSA membership.
Marflow Hydronics won the award with its free of charge CPD accredited Definitive Guide to PICVs (Pressure Independent Control Valves) training course which has been designed to provide knowledge and training on all aspects of using PICVs: from understanding why they’ve been developed, to how to get the best out of them today and then what the future holds.
The course was produced as a result of a growing interest in PICVs – with many customers needing extra support when using them. It proved more beneficial to train the industry on how to use the products than just support people on a ‘one-to-one’ basis each time they had a query.
Alan Gilbert, manager – BSRIA Instrument Solutions, said: 'I’m delighted that Marflow Hydronics has won the ‘Investment in Training’ award – with the creation of its CPD accredited Definitive Guide to PICVs. It is very well deserved. The 2016 CSA Awards once again proved to be an excellent and enjoyable forum – not only in which to celebrate business and professional excellence right across our industry – but a great way to press home BSRIA’s commitment to 'making buildings work'. Such product training is essential for the building and construction industry.'
Chris Forbes, managing director, Marflow Hydronics, said: “Marflow Hydronics is delighted to receive the award for Investment in Training category sponsored by BSRIA. Marflow Hydronics CPD courses are supplied free of charge as we are committed to raising the level of understanding and training within the industry rather than supporting people as and when they have a query.”
In 2015, in support of its 25th Anniversary, the Commissions Specialists Association (CSA) launched an industry-wide awards programme. It was configured to bring together the entire commissioning sector in a celebration of the companies, innovations and people that are achieving the highest professional standards and helping to drive this dynamic industry forward.
The other finalists were: Airtech Premier Academy, Ashford Environmental Services and End Systems.
