Ideal Boilers' head of marketing, Carrie Young, welcomed National Energy Action's Fuel Poverty Awareness Day, which was held on 28 March.
She said: 'We welcome any campaign that helps raise awareness of fuel poverty and the problems faced by families that struggle with this. National Energy Action does vital work highlighting the importance of energy efficiency in tackling fuel poverty and the solutions available to help people keep warm in their homes.'
'It is encouraging to see Government and regulatory bodies responding to pressure by groups such as the NEA, as seen by yesterday's Ofgem report on the state of competition in the energy market and the proposed market investigation by the Competition and Markets Authority,' she added.
