HVAC industry expert and much liked sales manager for AmbiRad and Reznor UK, Howard Marfleet, has sadly died after battling a long illness.
Mr Marfleet, who was 60, died on 14 January with his family at his bedside. He had been suffering from oesophageal cancer for the last two years.
He worked for the AmbiRad Group of companies for 30 years where he helped to build the company’s presence in the UK and was highly respected in the HVAC industry. Despite his illness Howard remained cheerful, ebullient and was exceptionally generous in that he had time and advice for anybody who needed it. For those who worked with him his sense of humour always shone through in any situation. Described by colleagues as warm, vibrant, witty and intelligent, Howard will be sadly missed.
Former colleague Frank Staniland said: “Howard spent the majority of his career within the AmbiRad Group sales’ teams, where his knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm were an inspiration and example to both his colleagues and clients alike. He was the epitome of the ‘work hard, play hard’ ethos. I know I will be speaking for everyone when I say he will be missed terribly and our thoughts and wishes are with his family at this sad time.”
Mr Marfleet leaves wife Kate, two daughters and a granddaughter.
