Mansfield Pollard project engineer Mick Lee recently shaved his head to stand proudly alongside people with cancer and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Sponsored by friends, and the team at the Bradford-based company, Mick grabbed the clippers and joined thousands of other ‘Brave Shavers’ nationwide who have taken part in this latest challenge from Macmillan.
Mick said: “It is always devastating when someone is diagnosed with cancer and your instinct is to help in any way that you can. This is a very visual reminder to show people that cancer is still very much part of our lives, and I hope that the ‘buzz’ of the day reminds people to show their support.”
