NIBE expands its distribution with Travis Perkins Group

NIBE Energy Systems has significantly increased its distribution of renewable heating technologies, following a new agreement with the Travis Perkins Group.
Now, in addition to its long-standing partnership with Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS), NIBE's full range of market-leading heat pumps, biomass boilers and solar thermal systems will also be available from Travis Perkins, City Plumbing Supplies, Solfex Energy Systems and BSS outlets across the UK.

NIBE's managing director Phil Hurley comments: 'This is a particularly exciting time for the industry as we await the imminent launch of the domestic RHI - so we're delighted to have dramatically increased our presence nationwide. With more than 1000 branches, the Travis Perkins Group opens the door to a whole host of new sales opportunities for NIBE. This means we can ensure wide-spread availability of our products, whilst also strengthening our penetration into important off gas areas and the selfbuild construction customer base.'

Ian Stares, product director - Renewable Energy Products at PTS adds: 'The Travis Perkins Group has a rapidly-increasing interest in renewables, in particular heat pumps, where NIBE is an industry leader. With the RHI expected this Spring, the growth and sales potential in this area has never been greater, so this is a very good move for both parties. The Travis Perkins Group offers NIBE national market reach and in return NIBE supplies excellent products, so it's going to be exciting to see what they both have to offer each other. We're delighted to have NIBE on board as a Group supplier and look forward to expanding our relationship even further.'

As well as bolstering its distribution network, NIBE also continues to strengthen its portfolio of pioneering heating and ventilation solutions, offering 'A World of Possibilities' to its customers. In addition to its recently launched F2040 air source heat pump package (with intelligent control systems and Megacoil hot water cylinders), NIBE has also enhanced the performance and usability of its market-leading F1145 and F1245 ground source heat pumps. It's new, intelligent Uplink tool is also fitted as standard across the range, so installers, property managers and end-users alike can benefit from a new level of control and convenience.
