Purex, the rapidly expanding fume extraction manufacturer, has relocated from its Rotherham site to new, purpose built headquarters in Doncaster.
The company had been based in Rotherham for more than 15 years. Technical sales manager Jon Young said: 'This move will allow Purex to fulfil our current, rapidly growing business and ambitious future expansion plans.'
The new site at Thorne is ideally located for distribution and is close to major transport links.
The company’s new address is: QWP House, Capitol Park, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire DN8 5TX, tel 01405 746030, fax 01405 746047.
Purex designs and manufactures a wide range of fume extraction systems for applications such laser coding and engraving, hand and machine soldering, printing, medical, laboratory work and many others.
The firm’s systems filter hazardous particles and gases before returning clean air to the room, meaning that extensive duct-work to carry the fumes outside into the environment are not required.
