Rok brings in contracts worth £440m since new year

Repair and maintenance specialist Rok Plc has won eight major framework agreements worth £90m over four years but its success is just the latest wave of good news for the group which has won £440m in contracts since the new year.
In total, 22 framework agreements have been won by Rok so far this year, amounting to £440m for the firm, compared with just £290m this time last year.

The group has now been chosen by logistics firm Wincanton to provide maintenance, repair and building alteration services for its warehouses and offices.

A similar arrangement has been agreed with Craegmoor Healthcare, a provider of specialist care and support to people with learning disabilities, mental health illnesses and older people, for the care homes, colleges and hospitals.

Bracknell Forest Council has become the latest local authority to take advantage of Rok’s maintenance services for its schools and public buildings.

Rok has also been asked to replace kitchens, bathrooms and heating systems in Bath for Somer Housing Group.

In Lancashire, where Rok has been working on a similar replacement scheme for Wigan and Leigh Housing, the company has now been asked to carry out maintenance on its rented properties.

The other three framework wins are for local authorities and their management organisations where Rok has existing maintenance services contracts and has now been asked to build new homes.
