Swiftclean and Aquaco join forces

Kitchen extract and ductwork cleaning and legionella prevention services company Swiftclean Environmental has signed a partnership agreement with Aquaco Water Recycling which will broaden the offering of both companies to their clients.
Under the terms of the agreement, Aquaco will offer Swiftclean services to its existing customer base while Swiftclean will offer Aquaco's grey water recycling and rainwater harvesting services alongside its existing grey water and rainwater tank cleaning services and legionella prevention programmes.

'This is a very positive partnership,' said Swiftclean's managing director Gary Nicholls. 'This is two dynamic specialist companies coming together to ensure that a broader number of clients can now get access to the widest possible range of water hygiene services as well as professional ventilation system hygiene, ductwork cleaning/fire safety cleaning and refurbishment packages,' he added.

'Moreover, given the large number of hospitals with which Swiftclean works and the need to better conserve water stocks, our partnership will enable us to add value to those relationships by recommending a high quality provider of water conservation and recycling services.'

Elliott Webster, managing director, Aquaco Water Recycling, said: 'We had already been working with Swiftclean to clean the tanks in our systems and this partnership means we can now offer customers a full maintenance solution including the plumbing, electrics and tank cleaning under one roof. It also means Swiftclean will have an additional offering for their customers through Aquaco enhancing its existing range services.'

Aquaco offers a systemfor the collection of rainwater from roofs, and water and grey water from baths, showers and hand basins to re-use for toilet flushing, irrigation and washing machine supply. Aquaco grey water recycling and harvesting systems are claimed to reduce waste water usage by typically 50 per cent and provide a payback of three to five years.
