Bob Smith bolsters Hamworthy Heating sales team

Boiler manufacturer and hot water specialist Hamworthy Heating has welcomed Bob Smith to the sales team for South and West Yorkshire, including Sheffield and Leeds.

Bob Smith (left) is welcomed to the Hamworthy team by national sales manager Stuart Turner.

Mr Smith began his heating industry career at LIFF Industries in Huddersfield, where he worked for the water treatment company before moving onto Indux, a heat recovery and ventilation specialist.

He continued to expand his knowledge, specialising in mechanical chimney draft while being employed by Danish manufacturer Exhausto and later Docherty Chimney Group. At AO Smith, where he spent the last ten and a half years of his career, Mr Smith made a name for himself as a sales representative and continuing professional development specialist in commercial solar thermal solutions, educating the industry’s professionals.

He commented: “I’m excited to start my new job with the team. Hamworthy is a household name in the commercial heating industry which stands for heritage and quality. I’m looking forward to returning to the Yorkshire area and getting to know my new customers and the large product range.”

Hamworthy’s national sales manager, Stuart Turner, added: “We’re happy to welcome Bob to the team. Continuing professional development is something we at Hamworthy are passionate about and it’s great to have another experienced presenter on board. His diverse background knowledge when it comes to the hot water and heating industry will be an advantage when supporting our customers.”

For advice on making the right choice for your heating and hot water systems, talk to Hamworthy. Telephone 01202 662500, email sales@hamworthy-heating.com, or visit www.hamworthy-heating.com.
