The event was sponsored by ESBE Ltd in its capacity as a manufacturer of hydronic equipment, including valves and other components specified to optimise efficiency and reliability.
In the course of an extended day’s programme of presentations, ESBE's managing director, Darren Myers welcomed the attendees from all over the UK and introduced two of his associates from the Swedish parent company, one of whom gave a technical talk on applications of different ESBE LTD.’s products applicable to heat pump installation. Maidstone based Warmur which is responsible for organising the events and supplies software for heat loss calculations and other energy optimisation applications, also played an active part in proceedings.
The symposium’s founder, Kim Betty commented: “These courses are run for plumbing and heating engineers who are at the very top of their game but still keen to learn more – especially about hydronics because that is the key to ensuring heat pumps operate efficiently. Importantly these annual meetings are intended to provide the attendees with the sort of training they want, rather than just going to some place that is offering standard training.'
The 27 installers who attended the meeting at Tesla Plumbing and Heating’s premises in Sutton Coldfield in January came from as far away as Edinburgh, down to Devon and the South-East and have all taken part in my courses in the past, so they were keen to hear more from ESBE.”
Darren confirmed: “As a supplier of high-quality products including valves, circulation units and many more, we are committed to helping our stockists and installer customer base offer the best standards of service possible, which must include raising training standards and awareness of good practice. We were very pleased to be involved with this premier industry event.”
