FERNOX DELTA FORCE

Added: 1 June 2015

The new Fernox TF1 Delta Filter has been specifically designed to protect the vital and expensive components in large volume and low temperature commercial heating and cooling systems. The TF1 Delta Filter has three methods of filtration: magnetic, hydrocyclonic and automatic or manual deaeration. The result is an efficient, effective and well-protected system.

The magnetic filtration is powered by a high grade, high temperature rated neodymium magnet. System water is fed to the magnet via the hydrocyclonic action created within the filter design; the same that is used in the award winning TF1 Total Filter. In addition, the TF1 Delta Filter is a versatile option for installers, offering the ability to automatically or manually deaerate the trapped air in the system depending on the system design or preference.

The Fernox TF1 Delta Filter is made from high quality, nickel-plated brass alloy and comes with all the necessary valves and brackets. It can be installed horizontally or vertically in four different orientations and there is no need to remove the filter from the pipework when cleaning it.

Suitable for both new and existing installations, the TF1 Delta Filter provides an ideal solution for large volume heating and cooling systems such as zoned or cascade systems, incorporating a low loss header or plate-to-plate heat exchanger. It can be installed onto 2 inch pipework and fitted onto larger pipework sizes using a bypass.

A non-combustible Fernox TF1 Delta Filter thermal jacket is also available. This will improve the energy efficiency of the system and provide a thermal barrier for installers to ensure high levels of safety.

“The new Fernox TF1 Delta Filter is built on the heritage of the award-winning TF1 Filter range and has been designed to meet the specific challenges faced in a commercial environment,” explains Francine Wickham, Global Marketing Director at Fernox. “The filter offers easy installation and cleaning and provides three methods of filtration to deliver the highest level of protection to the system.”

It is crucial to remember that a filter works optimally when used in combination with high quality chemical water treatments.

The TF1 Delta Filter will be available in all leading plumbers’ merchants later this year.
