Since its launch in 2009, five million Logic boilers have been manufactured and installed in homes across the UK.

The boiler is recognised as a hallmark of quality in the UK heating industry, providing reliable, efficient performance for 15 years.

To celebrate reaching the manufacturing landmark, Ideal Heating is embarking on a five million celebration Heat & Greet tour, with a host of top prizes and themed merchandise on offer to mark a decade-and-a-half of Logic boilers.

The tour will visit trade counters right across the UK, and will connect with installers who have known and loved the Logic boiler from its earliest years.

Ideal Heating is also rewarding the lucky installer who finds the golden five millionth Logic boiler.

The five millionth Logic to roll off the production line at Ideal Heating’s factory in Hull will feature a special commemorative gold label and the installer who finds the boiler will receive it free.

The boiler received Good Housekeeping Reader Recommended Status in 2013 and 2017, and played a key role in Ideal Heating being honoured with three prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise – one in 2013 for innovation, and two in 2019 for innovation and international trade.

Hot on the heels of Logic+ came Ideal’s Logic Max boiler, which features the same compact design with a high performance and high efficiency.

The popularity of the Logic boiler has also contributed to Ideal Heating holding an impressive five star - or “excellent” – rating on Trustpilot, with the company having been reviewed by more than 47,000 customers.

Just over two years ago, Ideal Heating reached the four million milestone for its Logic range. Since then, another one million Logic boilers have been assembled in Hull.

To celebrate five million Logic boilers, Ideal Heating is ready to get back on the road for a ‘Heat and Greet 5M Celebration tour’, a nationwide event designed to bring the excitement directly to installers across the country.

The popular ‘Spin To Win’ game is back, offering installers a chance to win various prizes including vouchers, tech gadgets, and European getaways

Ideal will be running an extensive multi-channel campaign to celebrate the milestone, from in-person events and social media content to branded merchandise.

Ideal’s five million Logic boilers have all been manufactured at the company’s headquarters site in Hull.

Having been Ideal’s home since 1906, the site is currently undergoing a £60m investment programme, as the company gears up for the next exciting chapter in its 100-plus-year history.

A key part of that investment is a new £19.2m UK Technology Centre, which will act as a research and development centre of excellence for future product development and innovation.
