Becoming a ULG company has given GTEC the opportunity to grow, in size and into new markets, developing courses to complement and enhance its core delivery. Plans for expansion include the formation of a new sales force, headed up by Stacey, who brings a great deal of energy and experience to the role.

Stacey began her working life in car sales where she quickly saw value in building good relationships and recognising what customers need. She further developed these skills in her business management roles at Yell and MCFT, the commercial kitchen maintenance company, before becoming Business Development Manager at Ello Group, where her focus was on building sustainable partnerships to help the business grow.

“It’s exciting to have joined a great business where my drive, tenacity and motivation can really make a difference. GTEC is a blank canvas as far as a sales force goes and I’m thrilled to be working as part of the team to develop their new strategy for sales.”

Right now, Stacey’s going through a period of looking and listening. She explains: “Emotional intelligence is key to successful business. You need to be smart in recognising what your customers need and flexible and adaptable in delivering what’s required. I’m taking a deep dive, a full immersion into GTEC, if you like, to learn about renewables and how the company has become a forerunner in renewables training.”

“The whole team as GTEC has given me invaluable support and guidance stepping into this new role, and I’m looking forward to showing them what I can do in lifting plans off the page and into reality. We’re all motivated by a passion for the advancement of renewable energy and environmental sustainability and keen to see GTEC grow!”

Griff Thomas, GTEC’s founder and MD is delighted with Stacey’s appointment: “Joining the ULG has opened-up considerable opportunity for GTEC, and we are currently on a mass recruitment drive to build the right team in order to realise the potential of this acquisition. Stacey is a great addition to this team. We’re excited to see where her expertise and drive will take us.”
