Riello has donated another £1,000 to the Macmillan Woodlands Centre Appeal, as part of its ongoing support.
This takes the company’s total donations to £3,500 in the last 18 months.
The appeal is raising funds for an extension to existing cancer treatment facilities at Hinchinbrooke Hospital near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire. This will increase the number of chemotherapy stations from nine to 15 and provide two single rooms, making it easier for people who are currently travelling further afield for treatment.
Riello will continue to support the appeal through a range of fund-raising initiatives, as well as supporting MacMillan Cancer Support more generally, as it has been chosen as the Riello Limited charity for 2016.
Riello’s sales and marketing director, Paul Sharp, said: “Riello has chosen to support the Woodlands Centre and Macmillan, as cancer support is very close to our hearts. Unfortunately, at some point all families have experience of cancer in some form or other. Riello is pleased to support this extremely worthwhile cause, that does such good work within our local community.”
