The voice of the NICEIC can be heard on the talkSport radio station (1089 and 1053 AM) talking up its 17th edition training courses to listeners throughout February 2008.


NICEIC kicked of its radio campaign on February 18, to target London listeners.

Angus Moir, NICEIC group chief operating officer said 'TalkSport reaches exactly the right kind of audience for our training courses and I'm a huge fan of the station'.

Attendees of NICEIC training courses can access publications and equipment relevant to their course or job at NICEIC's newly-opened Equipment and Publications centre in Dunstable.

Based at NICEIC's headquarters, the centre sells test equipment, electrical hand tools and publications at beneficial rates for contractors attending training courses.

Manufacturers include Metrel, Fluke, Kane and Seaward. NICEIC also has its own range of branded test equipment on sale at the centre. The centre is accessible by appointment only or by course attendees.

Under licence from The Electrical Safety Council, NICEIC maintains and publishes registers of electrical contractors that it has assessed against particular scheme requirements (including the technical standard of electrical work). The register includes the national roll of approved contractors.
