Uponor’s new UFH packs make it easy for installers to source everything they need for a project from one place. Now, instead of installers having to calculate how much of each product they need each time, they can simply contact Uponor’s customer service team and receive a full breakdown of all the components required for the job.
Uponor's new packs include smart controls made by the same manufacturer as the pre-insulated and plumbing solutions. Having one manufacturer supplying every aspect of the UFH means that the system is able to provide automatic balancing; a function not possible when the UFH and controls come from multiple suppliers and aren’t designed to communicate with each other.
The intelligent autobalancing function continuously monitors temperatures inside a home and regulates each heating circuit individually. This means that the UFH continually adapts to suit every space and system it is placed in, without requiring the complicated recalculations or adjustments of manual balancing. It continues to provide this automatic balancing throughout the seasons and adapts to changes in a household’s lifestyle and usage patterns, as well as structural changes such as new floor coverings. This results in a more even temperature and faster UFH system reaction times, as well as being up to 20% more energy efficient than alternative systems.
The Smatrix Pulse smart control included in Uponor’s UFH packs can be managed using Alexa Voice Control, Google Voice Assistant and the Smatrix Pulse app, allowing homeowners to manage their heating remotely to further save on costs.
The packs come with everything installers need to successfully place UFH in a variety of different project types including for screed, timber and low-profile applications. Each pack can be provided in one, two and three zone options covering between 14, 28, 42, 56, square meters.
All packs include a pipe, manifold, adaptors, controls, edge strips, bend support and clips. The packs also provide instructions for the pipes and manifold as well as an installation guide for the controls. Aftercare support from Uponor is available for installers to provide them with guidance at every step of the installation process.
