Madel

Madel was founded in 1965 in Centelles (Barcelona), with the ambition of manufacturing air diffusion products.  In 2016, Madel now has three production facilities totaling 9,050m², 145 employees, representation in 33 countries and a turnover of €15m per annum. Madel designs and manufactures components for the distribution, regulation and control of air, fire protection and chilled beams. Through collaboration with various design studios and industry experts, Madel products incorporate innovative and cutting-edge solutions. Within Madel’s G2 Centre is its testing and demonstration laboratory, as well as a showroom. Full product development is carried out in-house. Airflow, pressure, throw, and temperature gradient measurements can all be ascertained in the test cell and climatisation chamber. Acoustic measurements are performed in the laboratories of its collaborator Disao & Applus.

 

Fläkt Woods

Fläkt Woods develops, manufactures, markets and distributes intelligent air-technology based solutions with energy-efficient products and system solutions for indoor air climate for buildings. With international sales over 65 countries, 2150 employees and 17 production facilities, Fläkt Woods achieves a turnover of €400m per annum. Fläkt Woods offers a wide range of ceiling-mounted diffusers; rectangular, circular, nozzles and swirl types. It also manufactures diffusers for displacement air distribution offering good thermal comfort and high ventilation efficiency.
