Established in 1966 in Worcestershire, Combat HVAC Ltd. began manufacturing warm air heating equipment under the Combat brand. In 1999 the company was acquired by Roberts-Gordon as the parent company. In the same year, Combat joined forces with prominent Radiant Heater manufacturer Blackheat, in order to offer a wider range of products to their customers. In 2015 Combat reverted back to the Combat brand.

Combat HVAC Limited is based in the heart of the manufacturing industry in Wednesbury, a location that was chosen due to its easy access to the motorway network, which allows Combat to provide faster lead times. The site in Wednesbury is a large modern manufacturing and distribution facility, which is the manufacturing base for the Combat range of Warm Air Heating equipment. This facility allows Combat to distribute warm air heaters and Blackheat Radiant Heaters throughout the U.K. and Europe

Under the spotlight today is our 'Customer Service Person of the Year' sponsor, Combat HVAC Ltd, where we talk to the company's spokesperson.

Why are you sponsoring the HVR Awards 2016?

'Combat HVAC Limited is proud to sponsor the Customer Service Award for the 2nd year running. This is an aspect of the industry that we feel is extremely important, and we are proud to support it. This is a subject that we feel passionate about as we continue to establish strong and lasting relationships, with existing and new clients.'

Why should the industry participate in the event by entering, nominating and attending?

'We believe that part of a good customer service involves setting high standards in customer communication, employing a high level of skills that allows the company and through thorough consultation, to establish and meet the needs of the customer.'
